Dad Asserts His Dominance By Bringing His Own Grill To The Barbecue

Controversy struck a local barbeque this Fourth of July as James Westover decided he couldn't stand by as the host grilled his own food. Fancying himself the best griller in the group, he decided to bring his own grill to cook food simultaneously.

"Look, I don't think it's that big of a deal," said Westover. "He's got a gas grill, I've got a charcoal grill. If Bob's so confident in his grilling, he shouldn't be so upset."

Bob, the party's host, sees the dueling grill situation as an act of aggression. "Look, this grill is all I have," Bob said. "I'm not good at much. I don't know how to engage with my kids, my wife finds me boring, I was never good at sports, and I don't really know how to watch good shows without getting confused. But grilling? That's my thing and James...well, he's encroaching on my thing."

The rest of the family reportedly doesn't care who grills and just wants the two men to stop arguing and start cooking.
